We're throwing away the script and going groovy with our blues on Sunday; groovy, rocking, melancholy, funky and poetic. There was a very good reason Alternative Country was invented - to take the cringe out of country. The thing about covers is it's only great songs that get that treatment, and if they put them out there, an artist is pretty much saying they believe they are adding something to them in their cover.
